Danni Shrosbree
I am originally from Dorset on the south coast and I currently live in London. Cycling has always been a part of my life in some way. I was a triathlete when I was younger, then transitioned to competing as a rower to a high level before focusing solely on the bike in 2018. 2021 was my first full road season due to an injury and covid and I really enjoyed it. One highlight from 2021 was the Ras na mBan in Ireland. Even though it was grim weather and a hard race, there was something satisfying and enjoyable about racing in those conditions and being surrounded by my teammates. Another highlight would be Volta a Portugal Feminina in slightly warmer conditions, where I came home with both the points and mountains jerseys. A final highlight last year was the Nationals in Lincoln where I achieved my best result for the season.
Favourite Race: Ras or Lincoln GP
Favourite Food: Banana Bread (plus an oat flat white)
Favourite warm up tunes: Sam Fender for Chill, House mix for race vibes
What are you looking forward to most in 2022: I am really looking forward to being part of a new team and spending time with my teammates at races and on training camps. We have a great race calendar lined up for 2022 which is exciting! This will hopefully mean more racing abroad and the chance to broaden my racing experience!
